KOVA Commercial Group Celebrates Milestone Sale of Land for Tesla Dealership in Naples, FL.
Naples, FL – February 1, 2024 – In a groundbreaking move, Tesla, Inc. has acquired 4.51 acres at 4555 Radio Rd., Naples, FL, on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 4555 Radio Rd LLC, making a substantial investment of $7,000,000. This strategic acquisition marks one of Tesla’s inaugural ventures in self-developed dealerships within the United States.
KOVA Senior Advisor Felipe Arcila has been an instrumental force in this transformative project, dedicating several years to its realization. His involvement began with the sale of the site to gulf coast roofing contractor CMR in September 2020, securing a transaction valued at $4,650,000. Collaborating with GradyMinor, the planning and application process with Collier County commenced in early 2023.
The proposed 45,000 square-foot facility is set to redefine automotive experiences in the region. Featuring rooftop parking, the structure will be divided into a 35,000 square-foot service area housing 20 to 30 bays, complemented by additional space for offices and demonstration areas. As per the Tesla model, a curated selection of vehicles will be on display and available for test drives. Notably, all sales will be exclusively conducted online through Tesla’s website, emphasizing a digital-first approach with “no direct vehicle sales from the facility.”
